Almond is my favorite scent and Sweet Grass Farm offers it in a wonderful body wash. I have one at home and recently gave one as a gift.
A simple and fragrant hand soap that leaves your hands clean. Not real heavy.
Always have this next to the sink.
Another unexpected benefit of the Coronavirus was the discovery of Sweet Grass Farm's fragrant and natural soaps. The soap that I usually order was out of stock. I found their Peony Rose soap as a result of a Google search. I was leery of purchasing a scented soap without smelling it first, but much to my delight, found that these soaps are refreshingly scented. Some scented soaps can be overpowering or have an unnatural fragrance. I was very pleased to find that the scents are subtle and do not smell like an artificial, chemical concoction. It was an added plus that these soaps contain natural ingredients including wildflower extracts that do not irritate my skin, which is prone to eczema. I found the Peony Rose and Coconut Lime in the Bath & Body section, but I use them both as hand soaps. While I didn’t intend to buy anything other than soap, I decided to try the Farmhouse Natural Skin Therapy Cream for my husband who had been complaining of very dry, cracked skin on his hands. He loves the Lemon Verbena’s skin softening properties and the fact that its scent is neither overpowering nor feminine. I tried it on my feet and loved its light texture – not too greasy or heavy. I look forward to trying some of their other scents and products.
I got my first taste of Sweet Gras Farm when I was in Newburyport MA. I went into a small store with my husband and saw the soap and some lotion. Once I smelled them I knew I had to have them. Flash forward 5 months later and I had nearly none left! I googled the name on the bottle and when I saw they were local to New Hampshire (right down the street from where I was living!) I immediately ordered more. This soap is amazing! Love it!!
